Funky Forest Campground offers just 20 secluded sites scattered across 422 wild West‑Coast acres, so you trade hookups and pavement for true privacy, peace and quiet.
Funky Forest is an eco reserve campground that spans over 422 acres of forest from 10m to 300m altitude with 8km of hiking trails, 3km of creek with cascades and waterfalls, three ponds, and many scenic viewpoints. We are committed to preserving nature and minimizing environmental impact. Our spacious camping spots are designed to provide a unique outdoor recreation and private accommodation experience. Each campsite has its own outhouse with a sink, toilet, a 5 gallon container with drinking water, and a designated area for a campfire. To ensure a comfortable camping experience, each campsite provides a level, flat area for setting up tents. With a distance of at least 200 meters between campsites, we aim for minimal density and maximum privacy for our guests.
Maximum vehicle length 26 feet. Maximum trailer length 20 feet. Maximum total of 4 vehicles and 10 tents. Maximum 4 adults plus 6 campers up to 18 years of age per campsite.
Please note: due to the vastness of our campground, we do not have running water or hookups on any of our campsites.
